Police Did Not Use Sound Grenades or Any Other Special Means in Kiran
The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs denies reports claiming that police used sound grenades against residents blocking roads in Kiran.
“The police in Kiran did not use sound grenades or any other special means,” stated the Ministry's spokesperson, Narek Sargsyan, in a conversation with Armenpress.
Earlier, media reports had circulated that the police deployed sound grenades against residents who were blocking a road in Kiran, resulting in several individuals sustaining minor injuries.
MP Lilit Galstyan previously reported that five citizens (four women and one man) and two police officers were taken to a medical center due to the use of a sound device in the Kiran area. After examinations, all citizens and police officers were discharged from the medical center.
