In central Yerevan, riot police have attempted to disperse a rally organized by the National Democratic Axis demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pashinyan using force. This has been reported by 24news.am.
The Axis has issued a statement: 'Police have recently detained Garagin Chugasyan, a member of the Axis Council, and reserve Colonel Volodya Avetisyan using brute force. There are dozens of detainees. According to our sources, Axis supporters have been beaten in the central police station.'
It is worth noting that just hours earlier, a rally of the National Democratic Axis had begun at Freedom Square. Following the rally, a march took place during which police physically detained dozens of participants.
