Situation on the Roads of Armenia and Lars

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kary are closed.

In Ararat province, there has been partial collapse of the pedestrian section of a bridge near the village of Getapnya, resulting in a suspension of traffic over the bridge.

Regarding Lars, according to information obtained from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
