Police Refuses to Return Vehicles Taken to Special Security Area, Lawyer Claims

Lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan has raised concerns: “Alert. The police refuse to return the vehicles of the protesters taken to the special security area. They are refusing without any reason or legal basis, citing the verbal directive of the patrol service chief, Arthur Khudinyan. This issue is widespread, and I have alerted the Human Rights Defender about it. The Human Rights Defender has also requested verbal and written clarifications from the police. I find that this behavior of the police falls within the framework of the criminal (in the most legal sense of the word) manifestation of obstructing lawful assemblies.”
