VIDEO: Major Fire Erupts at One of the World’s Largest Landfills

A major fire broke out in a landfill in the capital of India last night. The mountain of garbage grows by 10 meters each year and is rightly considered one of the largest landfills in the world. The landfill itself covers an area of more than 40 football fields.

Rescue teams are working at the site of the fire. This is not the first fire at this landfill; in 2022, Ghazipur burned so fiercely that the flames were extinguished only after 50 hours.
