USA to Allocate $61 Billion to Ukraine
The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill to provide assistance to Ukraine.
The total amount of aid allocated to Ukraine will reach $61 billion. According to NEXTA, 210 members of the House voted in favor of the assistance to Ukraine, while 112 voted against it. Additionally, Ukrainian flags were raised in the House.
As reported by CNN, the $95 billion package includes $61 billion for Ukraine and regional partners. Of that amount, approximately $23 billion will be directed toward the replenishment of American weapons, supplies, and facilities, while more than $11 billion will be used to fund ongoing U.S. military operations in the region. The bill includes nearly $14 billion to help Ukraine acquire advanced weapon systems and other defense equipment.
