US House of Representatives Passes Bill for Seizure of Russian Assets
The US House of Representatives has passed a bill favoring the seizure of Russian assets to support Ukraine. According to RIA Novosti, the congress members approved the bill by a significant majority, which includes provisions for the confiscation of Russia's sovereign assets for the benefit of the Kyiv regime. Additionally, there is a demand for the Chinese company ByteDance to sell its American business of the social media platform TikTok, under the threat of a ban.
A total of 360 congress members supported the bill, while 58 opposed it. The document is now set to be sent to the Senate for further discussion.
