The Results Were Obvious from the Very First Days: Lavrov

The West is foolishly escalating sanctions against Russia without considering the outcome of such measures. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The information was reported by RIA Novosti.

"They are foolishly increasing these sanctions without even thinking about what the result will be. And the result was already obvious from the very first days, even before the special military operation, when the 'Crimea' sanctions were in effect, and so forth. We gathered and decided to not depend on them in all areas where they can limit our development, and it is desirable in all other areas," Lavrov said.
