Emergency Situation in Davtashen: Drinking Water Has Been Flowing Unchecked for 4 Days, Flooding the Neighborhood

Today, April 19, an emergency situation has arisen in Yerevan. Due to the damage to the drinking water pipe near buildings 49 and 50 in the 4th district of Davtashen, water is flowing unchecked and flooding the entire neighborhood, reports Shamshyan.

In a conversation with the source, residents stated: “For already 3-4 days, drinking water has been flowing non-stop. We have called the Davtashen community, the Yerevan city hall, and 'Veolia Water', but we have not received any positive response from anywhere. It’s like the day from the well-known fable of ‘the swan, the crayfish, and the pike’. Each is shifting the blame onto the other while water is disappearing unchecked. It fills the yard of School Number 196 named after Ashot Navasardyan. It has already reached another school and kindergarten, as if you are in a waterfall. Our hearts ache, but we have no way out.
