Peskov: So far no official steps have been taken in this direction

The press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, stated that France has not made any official proposals regarding a ceasefire in conflicts during the Paris Olympic Games.

“You know, the president has been asked similar questions many times. Both the president and our military have noted that, as a rule, the Kyiv regime uses such ideas and initiatives to regroup, rearm, and so on. This, of course, greatly complicates the discussion process of such initiatives. This is the first point. And so far, no one has taken any official steps in this direction,” Peskov's words were quoted by TASS.
