Armenian Soldiers Killed by Israeli Weapons, Says Iranian Ambassador

The Iranian ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhanian, stated during a meeting with journalists that certain embassies of European countries in Yerevan are disseminating a one-sided and misguided stance regarding Iran's legitimate response.

"They want to subject the Armenian people to their erroneous political influence and discredit Iran in the public opinion of Armenia. I advise them to cease this deception and refrain from attempting to involve Armenia in their geopolitical conflicts," he said.

According to the ambassador, it is known in Armenia that the Zionist regime is one of the main factors of instability in the South Caucasus and that Armenian soldiers were killed with Israeli weapons during the second Nagorno-Karabakh war.
