Road Closures in Armenia, Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports

The Rescue Service reports that there are road closures in the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and to K’ari Lake are closed.

In the Ararat region, a partial collapse has occurred in the section of the bridge near the village of Getapnya designated for pedestrians, leading to a cessation of traffic across the bridge.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
