VIDEO: How Iranians Celebrate the Attack on Israel
How Iranians celebrated throughout the night following Iran's attack on Israel. It was reported earlier that on April 13, dozens of Iranian drones were launched towards Israel, a fact confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also confirmed the launch of Iranian drones and announced a swift start for missile attacks on Israeli territories.
ABC News reported that the attack initiated towards Israel could involve between 400 and 500 drones launched from Iraq, Syria, South Lebanon, and from the Houthis’ forces (Ansar Allah) in Yemen, with the majority expected to come from Iranian territory.
It has also been revealed that U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have engaged in phone conversations amid Iran's attack. NBC, citing an anonymous source from the Israeli government, claimed that Biden expressed private concerns that “Netanyahu is trying to pull the U.S. deeper into a broader conflict.” Later reports indicated that Biden strongly condemned Iran's attack against Israel.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has firmly condemned the clash between Iran and Israel and called for an immediate halt to military operations. He emphasized that neither the region nor the world can afford another war.
