Footage has surfaced online this morning showing the arrest of participants involved in a robbery that stole hundreds of millions from a car days ago. The video reveals Armenian law enforcement checking vehicles, during which a policeman can be heard saying, "bring chains, bring chains." The stolen goods were discovered in the vehicle.

On April 13, law enforcement apprehended and neutralized several suspects who, on April 10, stole 36 kg of gold ingots and a significant sum of money during a robbery on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway in the Ararat administrative area. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

The website states that operational information was received by the criminal police indicating that part of the stolen goods was being transported from Yerevan in a Mercedes Vito vehicle. In the Ararat administrative area, police caught a suspect and discovered 2 of the stolen gold ingots along with some of the money in the car's trunk. Two individuals from that location were taken to the Malatya police station.

Due to the interests of the ongoing investigation, detailed information is currently being withheld.

As reported earlier, on April 10, 2024, at 07:55, a call was received from a citizen stating that their relatives had been subjected to an armed attack and robbed. The thieves made off with 36 kg of gold and an equivalent of 1 billion 216 million Armenian drams, along with 293 million Russian rubles, before fleeing the scene.
