Israel Identifies Countries That Aided in Repelling Iran's Attack
The official spokesperson of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Daniel Hagari, has announced that Israeli military forces closely collaborated with the United States, the United Kingdom, and France during Iran's air assault, noting that French aircraft were patrolling Israeli airspace. He added that he does not have specific information on whether they shot down any of the missiles launched by Iran.
"We are working closely with the US, the UK, and France, who operated this night. France has very good technologies, aircraft, and radars, and I know that they participated in airspace patrol," Hagari stated.
Previously, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant revealed that Israel, with the help of the US and other allies, has been able to fend off the majority of Iran's attack, but the campaign is not yet over.
Iran launched a massive attack on Israel on the night of April 13-14, with the IDF successfully intercepting 99% of the offensive. It has been reported that Israeli military officials assert they will respond decisively to Tehran.
