119 Illegal Crab Traps Removed from Lake Sevan

As a result of preventive-inspection measures conducted by the Eco-Inspectors of the Ministry of Environment at the 'Sevan' National Park, 119 illegal crab traps were removed from the lakeshore area adjacent to the community of Sevan on April 9.

Additionally, 78 live crabs were released back into the lake. The preventive-inspection measures will continue on an ongoing basis.
