Video: Those Accused of Terrorism at Crocus City Hall Name Their Coordinator
The individuals accused of organizing a terrorist act at the Crocus City Hall complex near Moscow have named their coordinator. According to their statements, a man named Saifullo contacted them and promised each of them 1 million rubles.
The terrorists revealed this information during interrogation, as reported by TASS. One of the defendants stated during questioning, "Saifullo told us to go to Ukraine, to Kyiv, where we would be given 1 million rubles (approximately $10,500)." Another accused individual spoke about the promised money contingent on crossing the Ukrainian border.
“We went to Kyiv, where we were supposed to wait for the money—1 million rubles each. Saifullo said that there would be guys at the Ukrainian border to help us cross and reach Kyiv… The coordinator said, ‘Call, then I will tell you what to do,’” the defendant recounted.
It is worth noting that on the evening of March 22, a group of armed men opened fire with automatic rifles at Moscow's Crocus City Hall, which led to an explosion and a fire breaking out on location. Reports indicated 144 casualties.
