Video: Boat Carrying People Capsizes During Evacuation in Flooded Area, Russia

In the Samara region of Russia, a boat transporting people capsized during an evacuation from a flooded area, with 8 individuals on board. This was reported by the Shot Telegram channel.

According to the channel's information, the boat, which was taking people out of the village of Poludni, had two small children on board. Preliminary reports suggest that the vessel collided with a tree, causing the passengers to fall into the cold water.

The passengers were wearing life jackets and managed to catch hold of tree branches, allowing them to survive. Witnesses claimed that the boat operator might not have been sober. One of the passengers later recounted that they spent about an hour in the cold water with the others until they were spotted by other people.

An ambulance on the shore checked everyone involved.
