Illegal Water Extraction Suspended in Kotayk Province

The employees of the Environmental and Mining Inspection Authority conducted an inspection at "DRIM REST" LLC operating in the Arzakan community of Kotayk Province. It was revealed that the company was illegally extracting water from a natural spring at the "Arthur's Aghveran Resort" hotel complex without the necessary permits.

Following a decision by the head of the Kotayk regional division of the inspection authority, the illegal water extraction has been suspended, and the pipeline entering the area has been sealed. An administrative fine has been imposed on the director, and a demand for compensation for damages has been submitted.
