Anti-Corruption Committee Raids State Revenue Committee: Operatives Arrested
A substantial number of staff from the Anti-Corruption Committee have just arrived at the Operational Intelligence and Investigation Department of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, located on Khorenatsi Street, according to shamshyan.com.
They have discovered that the chief operatives of the Department are involved in several corruption cases.
According to the website's information, the Anti-Corruption Committee has arrested Kamsar Avetisyan and Volodya Avagyan on suspicion of committing the aforementioned acts and has transferred them to the Anti-Corruption Committee.
Currently, the Anti-Corruption Committee staff are at their workplace conducting searches.
The Anti-Corruption Committee has confirmed the information, stating that two operatives of the State Revenue Committee have been arrested under suspicion of receiving bribes as part of an initiated criminal case.
