33-Year-Old Man from Lusadzor Becomes Bear Victim While Collecting Wild Herbs
A 33-year-old man from Lusadzor has become a victim of a bear while gathering wild herbs. This was reported by journalist Voskanyan Sargsyan on his Facebook page.
“Two days ago, on April 6, a resident of the Lusadzor village in the Ijevan community was buried. Born in 1990, he had previously served in the military and, after his discharge, was engaged in construction and agriculture. On April 4, together with other villagers, he went to the forest near the village of Acharukut to collect wild herbs. The group of herb gatherers split up in the forest, and the Lusadzor resident did not return to the agreed meeting point in the evening. After searches by fellow villagers, his mutilated body was discovered. Forest rangers reported that there is a bear in that part of the forest, along with its cubs. The Lusadzor man who fell victim to the bear was a father of two minor children,” Sargsyan stated.
