Angelina Jolie Accuses Brad Pitt of Violence Against Her and Their Children: CNN

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has accused her ex-husband, actor Brad Pitt, of physical violence against her and their children, according to American news outlet CNN, citing court documents that have come to light.

On Thursday, a motion was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court stating that the actress attempted to sell her stake in the Chateau Miraval winery to Pitt. However, negotiations between the actors fell apart when Pitt imposed conditions on Jolie at the time of closing the deal. The conditions included a non-disclosure agreement that 'prevented Jolie from speaking, except in court, about Pitt’s abuse towards her and their children, attempting to tie Pitt’s personal reputation to the Miraval business.'

Jolie’s new motion, submitted on Thursday, asserts that Pitt's history of physical violence against Jolie began as early as September 2016, long before the family’s flight from France to Los Angeles, the report states, citing court documents. It is noted that the actress does not disclose specific details regarding the alleged abuse.
