2000 Evacuated from Russian Shopping Center

A fire broke out in the ventilation chamber of one of the shopping and entertainment centers in Yekaterinburg, leading to the evacuation of 2,000 people from the building. According to the regional department's press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident. The information was relayed by TASS.

"An outbreak of fat accumulations occurred in the ventilation chamber. A total of 2,000 people were evacuated, including 107 children. No information on injuries has been received," stated the press service.

The fire alarm system was activated due to the incident, and 13 units of special equipment and 43 personnel were dispatched to the shopping center. Currently, the shopping center has resumed operations.
