Zakhrova Criticizes Armenia's Decision to Halt Use of Mir Cards
Edita
Armenia has succumbed to the influence of Western countries by deciding to abandon the use of Mir cards. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the diplomat's opinion, Armenia's economy will suffer significant losses due to this issue, and the population will face serious inconveniences. For Armenians working in Russia, it will become difficult to transfer money home, and tourists will also lose the ability to pay with these cards.
Zakharova believes that the costs of halting the use of Mir cards are greater than the hypothetical damage from Western sanctions.
