Zakhrova on Simonyan Regarding Charges From Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has announced that RT chief editor Margarita Simonyan is suspected of inciting genocide against Ukrainians. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on her Telegram channel.

“Since the Kyiv regime failed to synchronize April 1 with the presidential elections in Ukraine, they decided to mark an important date on their calendar with foolish news, not to lose 'fool’s day' ('День дурака'). Moreover, Zelensky had been preparing for the holiday for a whole year,” wrote Zakharova.
