VIDEO: Hundreds of Homes Submerged in Russia
The authorities in Altai have declared a state of emergency in the region due to flooding. As of March 31, a total of 923 household plots and 127 homes have been flooded across 37 populated areas in the region, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Three temporary accommodation points have been established in the villages of Mikhailovskiy and Rakitа. Currently, there are 77 visitors at these sites.
Efforts to address the aftermath of the flooding involve 302 personnel and 118 units of equipment, as reported by the "NGS - Novosibirsk News" publication. There are no reports on the number of affected individuals.
In general, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an active phase of spring thaw is being observed in 22 districts across the country.
