The Moscow-Yerevan flight SU1864 has successfully landed at Zvartnots. This information was confirmed in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia by sources at the 'Zvartnots' airport.

According to additional comments from the aviation authorities, the reason for the aircraft's return was technical issues. The plane was changed in Moscow, and passengers were transferred to Yerevan on a different aircraft.

Earlier, media reports indicated that the flight returned to Moscow an hour after takeoff due to the deterioration of a passenger's health.
