Aviation Company Denies Aircraft Had Technical Issues: Details on Moscow-Yerevan Flight
The captain of the Moscow-Yerevan flight SU1864 made the decision to return to the airport due to the sudden deterioration of a female passenger's health. This was reported by the press service of Aeroflot to Sputnik Armenia.
The woman's condition worsened immediately after the aircraft took off. The flight attendants provided first aid on the plane, and she was then handed over to the care of doctors at the airport.
The airline denied reports of any technical issues with the aircraft. 'In order to reduce the waiting time for the flight, which would have been required for refueling the aircraft, it was decided to carry out the flight with a backup plane, the preparation of which began before the return of the incoming aircraft,' the airline informed.
Earlier, it was reported that the Moscow-Yerevan flight SU1864 had successfully landed at Zvartnots Airport.
