Fight Breaks Out at Nightclub in Yerevan: Several Detained
On March 30, operational police from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia intervened during a violent incident involving a group of individuals, including youths and minors, on Myasnikyan Avenue in Yerevan. This was reported by shamshyan.com.
At approximately 2:50 AM, the police in the Yerevan patrol division received operational information about a dispute happening among a group of people near the 'Crazy' nightclub located at 20 Myasnikyan Avenue, which escalated into a brawl.
According to operational details, over ten people were involved in the argument and subsequent fight. The officers arrested individuals suspected of hooliganism and causing bodily harm, including 19-year-old Gevorg H., 17-year-old Vahan M., 31-year-old Vahan G., 40-year-old Vahram A., 26-year-old David M. from Aragatsotn province, 20-year-old Arkadi P. from Kotayk province, 39-year-old Tigran H., 24-year-old Gevorg M., 17-year-old Aleks G., and others.
Reports indicate that the altercation coincided with Aleks G.'s birthday celebration, during which the argument broke out and turned into a fight, with many attendees reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
According to available information, the manager of the nightclub was also a witness to the incident, and this information is currently being verified.
Documents regarding the case are being processed by the police’s Central Division and have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee of Armenia’s Yerevan investigative department for the Central and Norq Marash administrative districts, where criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the incident.
