Iran on Military Presence of Third Countries in the Caspian Sea

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has described the efforts of third countries to secure military presence in the Caspian Sea as contrary to the interests of the region.
As reported by Report, this statement was made during negotiations with Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also proposed holding the Caspian Economic Conference, involving the leaders of the Caspian Five countries: Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan.
It is noteworthy that the previous conference took place in Moscow on October 5-6, 2022.
