Syunik Governor on Unbuilt Houses in Shurnukh for 3 Years
Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan is not well-versed in the details of the program to construct 13 houses in Shurnukh and requests journalists to address their inquiries to the Ministry of Urban Development.
In a briefing with reporters, Ghukasyan emphasized that apart from the houses in Shurnukh, there are numerous other projects underway. “In the country, aside from the 10 houses in Shurnukh, many buildings and houses have also been constructed. It’s not the case that only those 10 houses are being built in Armenia. For questions regarding this, please contact the Ministry of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia, as they are the initiators; I am not familiar with the details,” Ghukasyan remarked.
The decision to construct 12 houses in Shurnukh was made back in April 2021. To date, the project has been postponed five times, and it is now stated that the construction of the new neighborhood is expected to be completed by April 2024.
