VIDEO. I Expect Prosecutors to Do Everything to Ensure Terrorists Are Punished: Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin expects prosecutors to do everything necessary to ensure that those responsible for the tragedy at "Crocus City Hall" face justice. "I expect that prosecutors, within the framework of their authority, including when presenting state charges and during the court proceedings, will do everything necessary for the criminals to receive just punishment, as required by Russian law," said Putin during an expanded meeting of the Attorney General's Office.
He added that investigators are determining the details of the terrorist attack that occurred at the "Crocus City Hall" near Moscow. "The criminals who directly committed this mass murder, as you know, have been arrested. Investigators are thoroughly clarifying the circumstances of this barbaric crime, the details, the role of each participant, the degree of guilt, and are studying the conclusions of forensic experts," he stated.
It is noteworthy that on March 22, there was a shooting before a concert at the "Crocus City Hall" in the Moscow region, followed by a fire breaking out. The latest reports indicate that 139 people have died as a result of the terrorist attack (including three children). The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case regarding the terrorism incident. Eleven individuals have been arrested, including four terrorists: Daleryon Mirzoev, Rakhabalizod Saidakramin, Muhammadsobir Faizov, and Fariduni Shamsidin. They face life imprisonment. They, along with Isroel, Dilovar, and Aminchon Islomov, who are accused of assisting the terrorists, have been detained until May 22.
