VIDEO: Nikol Pashinyan Releases Promised Video "Conversations About the State 1"

Today, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has released the promised video "Conversations About the State 1." In the video, he discusses the types of states and emphasizes that Armenia is a democracy.

"We are a democracy as a result of the 1991 referendum and the 2018 popular, non-violent, velvet revolution. I must note that one of the key factors of democracy, if not the most critical, is the citizen. It is very important to understand how a citizen is formed. This is connected to the relationship between a person's freedoms and obligations," he stated.

The Prime Minister pointed out that if a person has only freedoms but no obligations, we can face lawlessness. Conversely, if a person has only obligations without freedoms, we may confront totalitarianism.
