Flight from Moscow to Istanbul Makes Emergency Landing Due to Passenger Incident

An aircraft flying from Moscow to Istanbul has been forced to make an emergency landing at Volgograd Airport. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the airport's press service, the plane made the landing due to an erratic passenger. A representative of the airport noted that the unruly passenger was removed from the flight and handed over to the police. The aircraft is preparing to depart to its destination.

Earlier, at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport, police arrested a woman who claimed there was a bomb in her backpack. According to reports, a search of the arrested woman’s bag revealed no explosives or explosive materials. A representative of law enforcement stated that police officers are currently working with the woman.
