Who Owns the ‘Proud Citizen’ LLC That Received Millions from the State?

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: 'Since its establishment in 2018, the 'Proud Citizen' LLC has provided billions worth of goods to various branches of the Armenian state authorities. Specifically, from May 21, 2019, to the present, 33 purchases have been made from this company, with a total amount of 328 million 125 thousand drams.

Almost all state bodies have made purchases from this LLC, including the National Assembly, ministries, universities, and various services. The last procurement was conducted by the Prime Minister's Office on February 12, where computers were purchased for nearly 19 million drams.

The company primarily deals with the sale of computer and household appliances, as well as spare parts. The sole owner of 'Proud Citizen' LLC is one Aram Albert Stepanyan.

Interestingly, this company pays only 1500 drams monthly to the Soldiers' Insurance Fund. This raises questions as it is evident that a company with such large contracts and significant sales has only one registered employee. It is clear to everyone that even a simple fast-food establishment cannot operate with just one employee.'
