Collapse in Sanahin: Gas Pipeline Damaged
On March 22, at 1:40 PM, the emergency management center of the Lori regional rescue department received a call reporting that a wall had collapsed in the village of Sanahin, damaging the gas pipeline.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a wall approximately 15 meters long had collapsed on 1st Street of the village, which damaged the gas pipeline supplying the village, leading to a suspension of gas supply.
The rescuers cordoned off the area and carried out stabilization work. Employees from the gas emergency service stopped the gas leak and repaired the damaged pipeline. The gas supply to the village has been restored.
