Civic Contract Deputies Instructed to Meet with Artsakh Residents, Assure and Calm Them
The newspaper "Zhoghovourd" reports: "Members of the ruling Civil Contract party intend to begin intensive meetings with citizens forcibly displaced from Artsakh in an effort to moderate their anger.
As it is known, yesterday, deputies from the ruling Civil Contract faction held a closed-door meeting in Parliament with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan. Also present at the meeting were Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, Deputy Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs Anna Zhamkochyan and Davit Khachatryan, as well as Head of the Migration and Citizenship Service Armen Ghazaryan.
According to information from "Zhoghovourd," the deputies were given a new instruction from Nikol Pashinyan during the meeting, which is to hold regular closed meetings with forcibly displaced Artsakh residents and engage in discussions with them. Therefore, Civil Contract members will hold intensive meetings with forcibly displaced Artsakh residents in various administrative districts of Yerevan as well as in the regions.
What the Civil Contract members will discuss with the Artsakh residents who have been deprived of their homes and properties during their time in power is hard to say. However, the instruction exists and must be implemented."
