The Number of Victims in the Tragic Accident in Armavir Region Reaches 4, All Identities Known

On March 20, a driver involved in a major traffic accident in the Armavir region, who had been hospitalized the previous day, died in the intensive care unit of the Vagharshapat Medical Center without regaining consciousness. According to shamshyan.com, within the framework of the criminal case initiated by the Vagharshapat Investigative Division of the Armavir Regional Investigative Committee, the identities of the deceased citizens and the drivers of the 'Lexus' and 'LADA Priora' have been established.

It was determined that the 'Lexus' was driven by 34-year-old Babken Saroyan from the Armavir region, while the 'LADA Priora' was driven by 34-year-old Tigran Margaryan, a resident of Armavir village in the Armavir region. The fatalities include 39-year-old Zohrap Gasparyan, 35-year-old Ishkhan Arsenyan, and 38-year-old Khachatur Margaryan, who were returning to their village from work when the 'Lexus' crossed the divider, broke two trees, and collided with the 'LADA Priora' heading towards Armavir.

It is worth recalling that at around 12:30 PM on March 19, the vehicles 'Lexus' and 'LADA Priora' collided in the administrative territory of Tsaghkunk village on the Yerevan-Armavir highway. As a result of the accident, four individuals were transported to the Vagharshapat Medical Center with varying degrees of bodily injury. Subsequently, the hospital reported to the Vagharshapat Police that three of the injured had died without regaining consciousness.
