Russian Troops Take Control of Orlovka

The Russian Armed Forces have taken control of the village of Orlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. This was reported to journalists by the Ministry of Defense on March 19. The information was shared by lenta.ru.

According to the defense department, the advance occurred in the direction of Avdiivka, west of Avdiivka city. The soldiers of the Central Group of Forces participated in the battles for the settlement. As clarified by the Ministry of Defense, during the military operations in that direction, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed an M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer, several howitzers, and up to 125 personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
