Russian Defense Ministry Reveals Ukrainian Armed Forces' Losses Near Avdiivka Over One Week
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have reportedly lost over 2,195 servicemen in the Avdiivka direction over the past week. This information was disclosed by the Russian Ministry of Defense during a daily briefing on the special military operation.
"In the past week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost more than 2,195 servicemen in that direction," said the Russian defense department.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian army has also lost two tanks, 21 armored combat vehicles, 65 vehicles, and 28 field artillery guns in the area.
Furthermore, the ministry added that the 'Central' grouping of troops, in collaboration with aviation and artillery, has liberated the settlements of Orlovka and Tonenke in the Donetsk People's Republic.
Additionally, Russian forces have repelled 42 counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this section of the front and inflicted losses on the personnel and equipment of seven Ukrainian brigades.
Previously, CNN reported that Russian Armed Forces have targeted the infrastructure of Ukraine, including facilities linked to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
