Snow Falls in Shirak Province, Aparan Region, and Jermuk

The Emergency Situations Service reports that certain roads in the Republic of Armenia are closed. In the Aragatsotn Province, the roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and to Kary Lake are closed.

Snow is falling in Shirak Province, the Aparan Region, and the city of Jermuk. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the North Ossetia Crisis Management Center of Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to use winter tires only.
