Video: Residents Evacuated Due to Volcanic Eruption in Iceland
Residents of Grindavik, Iceland, and tourists at the Blue Lagoon resort have been evacuated due to a volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula, reports CNN.
According to local authorities, there were about 700 people at the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.
Media outlets indicate that this marks the fourth volcanic eruption on the peninsula in the past three months.
