Two-Month-Old Baby Dies at Holy Mother of God Medical Center

On March 14, a tragic incident occurred at the Holy Mother of God Medical Center in Yerevan. This information was reported by shamshyan.com. On that day at 19:40, a notification was received at the Shengavit Division of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, stating that a two-month-old baby had died at the center.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a patrol group from the Shengavit Division and an investigator from the Shengavit Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia in Yerevan were dispatched to the hospital. Upon arrival, officers and investigators established that the deceased was a two-month-old boy named Hovhannes M. who had been transferred to this hospital on February 24 from the ‘Gyumri Austrian Mother and Child Hospital’.

In connection with the event, a criminal case has been initiated on the basis of
