Lukoil Vice President Commits Suicide

Vitaly Robertus, the vice president of Russia's largest private oil company, Lukoil, has reportedly committed suicide in his office, according to media reports.

Robertus did not leave his office for several hours and did not respond to phone calls. The company's senior president, Oleg Pashaev, became concerned when Robertus, despite being in the office, failed to answer his calls. He entered the office and discovered Vitaly Robertus's body hanging in the office bathroom.

The deceased was 53 years old. It is noteworthy that the company announced Robertus's death on March 12 but did not mention any information regarding suicide.
