One of the Suspects in the Murder of a 17-Year-Old Student Detected in Sisian

On March 12, at 12:22 PM, the National Police of the Republic of Armenia's operative management center received a report that an ambulance team had transported R. H., born in 2006, who had been stabbed, from Mamigonian Street in Yerevan, and that he had died without regaining consciousness.

Within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, it was revealed through operational and investigative measures that at 11:30 AM on March 12, R. H. had a confrontation with a 21-year-old man and an unidentified group of individuals near the college on Mamigonian Street. During the altercation, they struck R. H. with their feet, hands, and blunt objects, while the 21-year-old used a sharp cutting and stabbing object to inflict injuries on various parts of R. H.'s body, leading to his death.

As a result of the joint operational and investigative measures carried out by the Criminal Investigation Departments of the National Police, Yerevan City Division, Arabkir, and Sisian, the 21-year-old was detected in the city of Sisian and arrested around 12 PM on March 13 for the purpose of prosecution.

Measures are underway to find and bring the other participants in the confrontation to justice. It is worth recalling that earlier, the Investigative Committee had provided details regarding the murder of the student from the 'Yerevan State College of Informatics.'
