Sochi Aims to Build a $10 Billion World-Class Entertainment Center
Sochi plans to construct the "Epicenter of Impressions," the first world-class entertainment center. The project's cost is estimated at approximately 10 billion rubles. This was announced by Svetlana Kalinina, the first deputy mayor, on their Telegram channel.
The facility is set to be located in the Krasnaya Polyana gaming zone. Thus, the journey from central Sochi to the "Epicenter of Impressions" will take about 1.5 hours by car, while it will be approximately 40 minutes from Sochi Airport.
According to Kalinina, the entertainment center will feature a new multifunctional space with a capacity of 6,000 people, designed for hosting concerts, stage shows, and sports events. Additionally, the center will include a multimedia museum, a children's entertainment center, an interactive sports park focused on esports, a VR zone, and an academy for esports athletes.
They have decided to make the "Vertical Show" one of the center's main attractions. According to the project's creators, this will be an immersive show that attendees can enjoy for free. The show is expected to be particularly popular among guests of the "Epicenter of Impressions."
It is noted that the total area of the complex will be 30,700 square meters. Construction is expected to begin this year and be completed by 2027.
