Russia Tightens Requirements for Alcohol Producers

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law that tightens the requirements for producers of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages, as reported by TASS.

The law alters the requirements regarding the charter capital of organizations applying for a license to produce ethyl alcohol, increasing the minimum capital from 10 million to 100 million rubles. Additionally, a ban is imposed on founders paying the charter capital using non-monetary and borrowed funds.
