Belarus Begins Armed Forces Combat Readiness Check
Belarusian armed forces have initiated a comprehensive check of the combat readiness of units and military installations. This was reported by the country's Ministry of Defense.
"Personnel must be deployed to designated areas and engage in a series of exercises and trainings, including live-fire drills," the statement said.
The ministry emphasized that the inspection would involve the movement of military equipment, which may lead to temporary restrictions on civilian traffic.
As clarified by Viktor Gulevich, Chief of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces, the event is being conducted in light of NATO's large-scale exercises. Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus stated that they see all signs of NATO preparing for war.
