Navigation on the Bosphorus Halted Due to Dense Fog in Istanbul

Navigation of ships through the Bosphorus Strait has been suspended in both directions due to dense fog in Istanbul, with 301 vessels currently waiting in line. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The navigation in the strait was halted at 04:15 local time (05:15 Yerevan time), according to the Turkish Coast Guard Administration.

As of 08:30, RIA Novosti's correspondent reported that there are 301 ships queued for passage through the Bosphorus. Dense fog is persisting in several districts of Istanbul.
