Azerbaijani Vandals Destroy Statue Depicting Traditional Armenian Grandmother

Another act of vandalism has been reported in occupied Stepanakert. This was announced by the cultural ombudsman of Hayk, Azerbaijani expert Hovik Avanesov, on his Facebook page.

“Azerbaijani vandals have destroyed a statue depicting a traditional Armenian grandmother in the vicinity of Renaissance Square in Stepanakert. Through this policy, Azerbaijan is erasing the Armenian identity of Stepanakert. This strategy of the Azerbaijani state apparatus once again proves that monuments located in Artsakh are in danger,” he wrote.
